“One’s hair is his or her trademark!”

Hair has always been on womens’ minds – as on their heads. Whether it’s straight, wavy, or curly; blonde, brunette, or red; one thing Sal knows is hair. He works with passion and enthusiasm, while being extremely focused and patient. With his attention to detail, he leaves you with nothing less than a masterpiece!

Born in London, Sal grew up in California, and started working in one of the best salons in Los Angeles, where he himself was a client. He wanted to be like no other, so he made a list of all the best hairstylists in the world, then went to go work with them. After gaining knowledge and experience he has his own approach to hair.

“I do it for the individual in an art form. I don’t cut hair, I carve hair, I shape hair, I mould hair, I sculpt the hair taking into consideration the client’s lifestyle, hair texture, and personality”.

I know him as a skilled, respected, and independent hair designer. I used to be his client, now I’m his friend.

Phil has great and varied experience in photography. Following on from his formal photographic education he honed his studio and location lighting skills, assisting a variety of fashion photographers on photo shoots around the country; as well as testing with agencies and collaborating with other creatives.

He has always enjoyed the process of making a compelling shot. From looking for a subject, or a moment to capture; composing the image, and deciding how he can make that image look to complement his client’s needs and desires. He gets a great feeling of fulfilment from seeing his clients with photographs which give them the confidence that can only come from feeling totally happy with their image.

Phil has worked with designers Nuvaba Pagurna, Gavin Medford, and Kosibah Creations, amongst others, and also regularly shoots at London Fashion Week, plus other fashion shows and events around the UK.
